Cal Expo Fairgrounds / Sacramento
Not very far south of Tehama County , the Cal Expo fairgrounds come
alive every summer as the State Fair becomes a "city within a city" that
hosts nearly one million visitors. Folks come from near and far for the
memorable delights of this 155-year-old extravaganza that includes
exciting exhibits, amazing attractions, live entertainment, and the
Magnificent Midway. The 2009 California State Fair will run from August
21 - September 7. Be sure to check it out in August!

22nd and offers many exciting opportunities for the whole family
throughout the summer months. The pool is located in River Park
and is open seasonally June through August. The Parks and
Recreation Department offers open swim, Red Cross swim lessons
and water exercise classes. |

The Sacramento River Discovery Center hosts a visitor's center that
is open to the general public Tuesday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. The center contains educational displays and hands-on interpretive
displays. The center also hosts monthly evening programs, an annual
dinner meeting, and a Watershed Celebration on the third Saturday in

It's over...the 41st Anniversary (42nd Annual) Los
Molinos Honorary Mayor's Race "2009."
The Los Molinos Honorary Mayor is Isabel Rosales - Sponsored by Nu-Way
Market. Isabel will serve as Honorary Mayor from July 4th, 2009 to July
4th, 2010. Isabel raised $3,206.41.
The 1st Vice Mayor is Donna Wallan - Sponsored by
Umpqua Bank. Donna Raised $2,856.91.
The 2nd Vice Mayor is Rick Singer. Rick raised $1,047.51.
The "Honorary Mayor's Race" in Los Molinos is
sponsored by the Annual Los Molinos Independence Day - 4th of July
Parade and Play Day Committee (V.F.W. Post 3909 & The Los Molinos
Chamber of Commerce). Without this event, the Annual Los Molinos Fourth
of July Parade and Play Day at the Park would not be possible. All
donations received from this event go directly to cover the expenses of
the Annual Fourth of July Parade and Play Day at the Park. We can not
stress enough how important this event is to our community.

in Red Bluff including Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Veteran's Day,
